Technical Route And Basis Of Medical Oxygen Cylinder

Liquid medical oxygen used to fill gaseous medical oxygen comes from air separation equipment or air separation workshop. The medical liquid oxygen of the air separation equipment is stored in the medical liquid oxygen storage tank after passing the medical oxygen standard inspection of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. 

Medical liquid oxygen can be pressurized to 14.7mpa through a special medical oxygen pump (generally a plunger liquid oxygen pump), and then vaporized into gas through a special medical oxygen vaporizer, and filled into a medical oxygen cylinder through a special medical oxygen filling platform.

This process is called "vaporization outside the liquid oxygen column" and it has advantages over "vaporization inside the liquid oxygen column". Instead of using an oxygen compressor, it is pressed into the cylinder through a dedicated pump for medical oxygen. Therefore, there is no water lubrication problem, will not cause pollution to medical oxygen, in line with the relevant provisions of medical oxygen GMP.
